• Direct all phases of construction, ensuring deadlines and costs are met.
• Manage relationships with external partners to enhance project delivery.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Implement innovative solutions to improve workflow and productivity.
• Facilitate training sessions for staff on safety and operational procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field
• Master’s degree is preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in managing construction projects

• Budget Management

Certifications

• LEED Certification
• Construction Quality Management Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficient in AutoCAD and project management software: Experience using AutoCAD for design and project management tools for scheduling.
• Strong understanding of local building codes and regulations: Knowledge of South African construction laws and regulations.
