Job Description

Join our team as a Veterinary Surgeon where you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of species. This role requires a keen eye for detail and excellent surgical skills. You will be involved in diagnostics, treatment plans, and post-operative care, ensuring the best outcomes for our patients. You will also guide pet owners through the healing process, providing education and support.

Responsibilities

• Examine pets to identify health problems and decide on treatment.
• Carry out complex surgeries and treat animal injuries.
• Administer anaesthesia and monitor patients throughout procedures.
• Advise pet owners on nutrition, hygiene, and health-related issues.
• Teach staff on handling and care of animals in the clinic.
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development.
• Complete proper exporting protocols and documentation for international clients.
• Engage in community outreach and pet wellness programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or higher
• Specialization in small animal surgery is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years in a clinical setting
