Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to create tailored treatment strategies for patients.
• Implement therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual techniques to facilitate recovery.
• Document patient evaluations and progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients on injury prevention and self-management strategies.
• Work in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers for comprehensive care.
• Participate actively in ongoing professional development and training.
• Organize and lead educational workshops for patients and staff.
• Conduct home visits for patients unable to attend the clinic.
• Evaluate therapy equipment for safety and proper use.
• Promote health and wellness in the community through outreach initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a clinical setting preferred
