Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will work on innovative projects and liaise with clients to deliver tailored solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed electrical schematics and layout plans.
• Interact with multidisciplinary teams for optimal project execution.
• Review and evaluate contractors’ performance and ensure timely project delivery.
• Assist in managing project budgets and resources.
• Provide training and support to junior engineers and technicians.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer registration in South Africa is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• MATLAB

Soft Skills

• Project Management
• Communication

Certifications

• Registered Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with renewable energy systems: Knowledge of green energy solutions and their integration into existing systems.
