Job Description

We are on the hunt for an IT Support Technician to provide exceptional technical support to our users in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will be adept at troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing necessary software, and maintaining IT systems. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure high availability and reliability of services.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular system checks, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Participate in IT projects, enhancing service delivery.
  • Coordinate with team members for service upgrades and implementations.
  • Assist with cybersecurity measures and data protection.
  • Maintain effective communication with users on the status of their issues.
  • Keep abreast of new technologies that can enhance support efficiency.
  • Implement feedback from users to improve IT support services.
  • Lead training sessions on new IT systems for staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Higher education in IT or related field is a plus
  • Relevant certifications preferred (Cisco, ITIL)
Experience
  • 3+ years in IT support or help desk role
