Job Description

As a Mail Superintendent, you will oversee the efficient handling and distribution of mail within the organization, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy. You will lead a team, manage resources, and maintain compliance with postal regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the mailroom, ensuring adherence to schedules.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance service quality.
  • Conduct audits of mailroom procedures and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with IT to ensure all mailroom software and systems are operational.
  • Prepare annual budgets and forecasts for mailroom expenditures.
  • Manage conflict resolution within the teams to promote a healthy work environment.
  • Facilitate teamwork and collaboration across departments to improve service delivery.
  • Monitor delivery metrics and take action to address delays.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the mailroom team.
  • Report regularly to senior management on operational performance and challenges.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant diploma in logistics or operations management is preferred

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role
