Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Public Health Coordinator to oversee health programs in Pretoria. This role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating community health initiatives while ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead community outreach efforts to promote health awareness.
  • Evaluate and report on the impact of health programs.
  • Develop strategies for increasing public participation in health initiatives.
  • Provide training and support to health educators.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address social determinants of health.
  • Prepare health-related content for media and community events.
  • Advocate for policies that promote public health and wellness.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health or equivalent is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in public health or health promotion
