We are seeking a skilled Chemical Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will work on designing, developing, and optimizing chemical processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in chemical engineering principles and experience in project work, focusing on efficiency and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct experiments to validate new chemical processes.
• Engage in cross-functional projects to drive chemical innovation.
• Prepare reports and presentations on project findings and recommendations.
• Ensure adherence to environmental and sustainability standards.
• Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for engineering projects.
• Participate in training and mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant discipline
• Relevant certifications in process engineering are preferred

Experience

• 5 years of experience in an engineering role preferably within the chemical sector
