Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer in our Johannesburg team, you will contribute to the design and development of robust mechanical solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution while adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical schematics and 3D models using CAD software.
• Engage in simulation testing to validate designs.
• Work with cross-functional teams to enhance project deliverables.
• Evaluate and select appropriate materials for designs.
• Conduct root cause analysis for mechanical failures.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
• Postgraduate qualifications related to engineering are preferable

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical system design and testing

Technical Skills

• ANSYS
• 3D CAD Software

Soft Skills

• Communication

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
