Machine Learning Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will design and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex problems and deliver innovative solutions. You'll work closely with product managers and data scientists to translate business needs into technical specifications, helping our partners achieve their goals through advanced analytics.

Responsibilities

• Create, test, and deploy machine learning models in production.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate machine learning features into products.
• Document model performance and maintain comprehensive records.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements using AI.
• Participate in code reviews and team meetings to ensure high-quality development.
• Provide technical guidance on the use of ML frameworks and libraries.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• PhD in Machine Learning or a related discipline is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in machine learning and AI development
