Pharmacist

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacist to join our Cape Town team. In this role, you will oversee the dispensing of medications, ensure patient safety, and provide expert advice on prescriptions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review patient health records to ensure safety in drug therapy.
• Participate in pharmacy quality improvement projects.
• Offer professional advice to both patients and healthcare providers.
• Promote and educate about new pharmacy services available.
• Manage patient complaints and resolve issues effectively.
• Assist with pharmacy research and development initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
• Certification in Advanced Pharmacy Practice is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of progressive pharmacy experience

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
