Job Description

We're looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will design, develop, and oversee electrical systems, ensuring they meet safety standards and specifications. You will work closely with project managers to deliver projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in electrical design, strong project management skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test electrical systems for various projects.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Provide technical support to project teams during the construction phase.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for electrical installations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical designs with other engineering systems.
• Prepare technical specifications and documentation for projects.
• Identify potential design issues and implement solutions proactively.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor electrical systems to ensure quality performance.
• Assist in the development of project timelines and management of resources.
• Maintain accurate records of engineering processes and decisions.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in electrical systems design
