Job Description

We are searching for a skilled Coating, Painting, and Spraying Machine Operator to join our talented team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in the finishing of furniture. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality are essential in this role.

Responsibilities

• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain coating machinery with minimal supervision.
• Prepare and mix staining solutions using correct ratio mixes.
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness in the workspace to comply with safety regulations.
• Assist in the training of new operators on machinery and processes.
• Regularly update management on inventory levels of supplies and materials.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Provide feedback on processes to improve production and quality outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with environmental and safety standards relevant to finishing processes.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Certificate or Diploma in Biotechnology or a related field is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Staining Machine Operator in a relevant field.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with various staining techniques: Familiarity with techniques such as H&E, special stains, and immunohistochemistry.
