Job Description

As a Loan Interviewer/Clerk, you will be the bridge between our clients and their mortgage processes. You will manage the final stages of the mortgage loan closing process, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all documentation and facilitating smooth transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Review mortgage loan applications and accompanying documentation for precision.
  • Facilitate communication between clients and lenders to streamline processes.
  • Assist in preparing and organizing closing statements and escrow paperwork.
  • Monitor the workflow and deadlines associated with loan closures.
  • Evaluate potential risks in closing documentation and provide solutions.
  • Deliver continuous support to clients throughout the mortgage application and closing process.
  • Educate clients on mortgage products and terms to ensure informed decisions.
  • Utilize mortgage management software and systems for efficient operations.
  • Provide administrative support as needed within the mortgage department.
  • Foster positive relationships with all stakeholders involved in the mortgage process.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration is preferred
  • Additional certifications or training in mortgage closing or related field are a plus
Experience
  • Familiarity with the mortgage loan closing process and associated documentation.
