Responsibilities

• Assess risk exposure for client businesses and individuals.
• Work closely with actuaries to devise pricing strategies based on statistical data.
• Implement loss prevention strategies and monitor their effectiveness.
• Facilitate discussions with clients to finalize terms of coverage.
• Review claims for compliance and assess their validity.
• Provide recommendations for policy adjustments based on market changes.
• Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Participate in audits and assist in risk assessments as needed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients throughout the underwriting process.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
• Professional certification (e.g., Associate in Commercial Underwriting) preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in insurance underwriting
