Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Crushing, Grinding, and Polishing Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating heavy machinery and the ability to troubleshoot common issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and diagnose machinery issues reported by operators.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure efficient machine repair.
• Conduct necessary tests for resolution and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Track and manage issue resolution progress to ensure timely delivery of fixes.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance overall efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in machinery operation preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in machinery operation within a manufacturing environment
