Job Description

We're seeking a passionate Vocal Teacher to provide expert instruction on vocal techniques, music theory, and performance skills. Your expertise will help spark creativity and build confidence in students as they embark on their musical journeys.

Responsibilities

• Foster an engaging and interactive learning experience in vocal classes.
• Guide students in developing their own personal style and expression.
• Incorporate rhythm and movement exercises to enhance vocal technique.
• Collaborate with other instructors to provide a well-rounded music education.
• Evaluate student progress regularly and provide feedback to parents/guardians.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Music, Vocal Performance, or related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Music Education is advantageous.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in vocal instruction.

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience preparing students for music examinations.: Knowledge of music exams such as Royal Schools or ABRSM.
• Experience in recording and producing vocals.: Familiarity with music production software and techniques.
