Job Description

As a Veterinary Surgeon at our reputable clinic in Port Elizabeth, you will be responsible for conducting surgeries and medical assessments and ensuring the wellbeing of animals. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about animal health and provides excellent client support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional veterinary services to small animals.
• Perform surgeries and administer anesthesia.
• Develop strong relationships with pet owners and communicate treatment options.
• Supervise junior staff and assist in training
• Address emergencies and act swiftly in a crisis.
• Oversee the health and welfare of the animals in your care.
• Engage in community outreach and educational programs.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Certification in specialized fields is beneficial

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in veterinary practice with surgery experience
