Responsibilities

• Perform routine health assessments and follow-up care.
• Manage patient flow and prioritize care needs.
• Implement infection control and preventive measures.
• Report any changes in patients' conditions to the nursing manager.
• Maintain inventory for medical supplies and equipment.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Nursing
• Advanced Nursing certifications are a plus

Experience

• 2-3 years of nursing experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Electronic Health Records (EHR)
• Patient Assessment

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience in a specific area of nursing (ICU, Paediatrics, etc.): Specialized experience that can enhance patient care in critical situations.
• Bilingual abilities (English and another local language): Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population.
