Forging Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Forging Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining forging machines to produce high-quality components.

Responsibilities

• Set up dies and fixtures for production runs.
• Operate various types of forging machines, including hydraulic and mechanical.
• Conduct routine checks and maintenance of machines before and after operation.
• Monitor production output to meet targets and quality standards.
• Investigate production issues, troubleshoot problems, and devise solutions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the workspace.
• Perform safety inspections and report potential hazards.
• Work in tandem with quality control teams to ensure products meet specifications.
• Assist with training and mentoring junior staff members.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant technical certifications in metal forming are advantageous

Experience

• Proven experience (2-5 years) in operating forging machinery
