Job Description

We are in search of a skilled Crushing, Grinding, and Polishing Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining grinding machines to produce precision glass components. You will ensure that the vials are level and polished accurately, ready for quality inspections.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate polishing equipment for glass vials.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure precision.
• Adjust machinery settings to optimize production efficiency.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines.
• Maintain a safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.
• Train new operators on machine handling and safety procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is a plus

Experience

• Previous experience with glassware manufacturing preferred.

Technical Skills

• CNC Machines

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

Advantageous

• Experience working with small parts: Familiarity with handling small precision components.
• Quality Control Experience: Prior experience in quality control processes preferred.
