We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and continuous delivery. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our development and deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain DevOps strategies for continuous integration.
• Support the development team in automation and performance enhancements.
• Implement infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform.
• Conduct system audits to ensure compliance and security.
• Collaborate on performance tuning and optimization of existing systems.
• Assist in troubleshooting and problem resolution for system outages.
• Mentor junior staff on DevOps technologies and practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related field
• Relevant cloud certifications are a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a DevOps role

• Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer
