We are seeking a Coastal Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing coastal protection and enhancement projects, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations while promoting sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in coastal engineering to project teams.
• Review designs and construction plans for compliance with safety standards.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions on coastal resilience.
• Document project processes and maintain accurate records.
• Contribute to grant proposals and funding applications for project support.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Master's degree in Coastal Engineering preferred

Experience

• 6-8 years of experience with specific focus on coastal projects

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Hydraulic Modelling

Certifications

• Chartered Engineer (CEng)
• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent
