Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Analyst based in Port Elizabeth, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. This position involves creating test plans, executing tests, and collaborating with development teams to identify and resolve issues before product release. You will be instrumental in delivering high-quality software solutions that meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance initiatives and best practices across the team.
• Review software requirements and technical specifications to ensure clarity.
• Utilize testing tools to automate repetitive tests and improve efficiency.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior QA team members.
• Ensure compliance with company quality assurance policies and standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering or equivalent
• Certifications in Agile or Scrum methodologies preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in QA for software projects

Technical Skills

• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Performance Testing Tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter)

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
