Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Electrical Engineer to join our dedicated team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and managing electrical systems and components for various projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design projects from concept to completion.
• Assess project requirements and create detailed plans.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff.
• Maintain communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the project.
• Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in electrical design and project management

Technical Skills

• PLC Programming
• Renewable Energy Systems

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Energy Manager (CEM) is a plus
• Six Sigma Green Belt is advantageous

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with building information modeling (BIM): Experience using BIM software for electrical designs.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency practices: Understanding practices for improving energy efficiency in projects.
