Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Professional to join our compassionate team in Cape Town. You will play a pivotal role in assessing client needs, developing personalized care strategies, and facilitating therapy sessions aimed at improving mental health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Implement evidence-based practices in care.
• Collaborate on interdisciplinary team care plans.
• Engage clients in their treatment and recovery process.
• Document all clinical interactions and interventions.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Psychology or Counseling
• Training in trauma-informed care is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical experience

Technical Skills

• Therapeutic techniques
• Mental health assessments

Certifications

• Clinical Psychology License

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic

Advantageous

• Training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Preferred experience in CBT and other evidence-based therapies.
• Fluency in additional South African languages: Knowledge of languages such as Zulu or Sotho is beneficial.
