Job Description

The Theology Teacher will play a vital role in designing, preparing, and delivering engaging curriculum materials in theology. You will mentor and guide students while assessing their progress and providing constructive feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement comprehensive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to foster improvement.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated with the latest trends in theology.
  • Facilitate a collaborative classroom environment that encourages student participation and discussion.

  • Organize and participate in academic conferences and workshops.
  • Mentor students in their academic and professional journeys.
  • Foster relationships with local religious institutions to create outreach opportunities.
  • Participate in grant writing and other funding opportunities for departmental initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Theology or a related field
  • Doctorate preferred
Experience
  • 5 years of experience in academic teaching and research.
