Training Specialist

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Training Specialist to lead our training initiatives. This role requires someone with a knack for engaging participants and refining training strategies based on feedback and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and observations.
• Develop and curate training content that engages participants.
• Measure training success through evaluations and suggest improvements.
• Facilitate onboarding programs for new hires.
• Work closely with external training vendors and consultants.
• Customize training modules based on audience feedback.
• Provide support for ongoing employee development initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, or related field
• Master's degree in a related field is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in training and development

• Curriculum Development
• E-Learning Platforms

• Interpersonal Skills

Certifications

• Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP)
• Train the Trainer Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS): Familiarity with implementing and managing LMS for training delivery.
• Coaching certifications: Certification in professional or executive coaching.
