Job Description

As a Railroad Brake, Signal, and Switch Operator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient movement of locomotives and trains within our transportation network. Your attention to detail and commitment to protocols will contribute to our operational success.

Responsibilities

• Direct trains through rail yard operations by setting signals and switches.
• Monitor the progress of train movements and escalate issues as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations.
• Lead improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Serve as a liaison between engineering and operational teams for safety compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Any engineering qualification is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in train operations or related fields.

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Office Suite
• Railroad Signaling Systems

Certifications

• First Aid and CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
