Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to oversee and manage various construction projects in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of engineering principles, project management, and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee infrastructure projects from initial conception through to completion.
• Maintain communication with clients and stakeholders to ensure project satisfaction.
• Review and approve engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations on site.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation and environmental assessments.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site evaluations.
• Implement innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices.
• Assist in sourcing materials and managing project resources effectively.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
