Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Veterinarian to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to animal health, experience in clinical practice, and the ability to perform surgeries and diagnostic procedures. You will work closely with pet owners to provide exceptional care and treatment for their beloved animals.

Responsibilities

• Examine animals for signs of illness or injury.
• Administer anesthetics and perform surgeries.
• Provide euthanasia services when necessary.
• Offer nutritional and behavioral counseling to pet owners.
• Maintain a clean and safe veterinary environment.
• Train and mentor junior veterinary staff.
• Assist with the management of the clinic's operations.
• Participate in workshops and conferences to enhance skills.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Veterinary Medicine

Experience

• At least 3 years of hands-on veterinary experience

Technical Skills

• Veterinary Software Proficiency

Certifications

• Advanced Veterinary Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in Animal Acupuncture: Knowledge in alternative treatments to enhance pet recovery.
