We are seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting sensitive data and ensuring the integrity of our digital infrastructure. You will work closely with IT staff to develop robust security protocols and respond to breaches effectively.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.
• Participate in security incident response planning.
• Assist with the development of disaster recovery plans.
• Engage with external vendors for security solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years in cybersecurity or IT security role
