Join our Cape Town team as a Structural Engineer, where you will play a key role in the planning and development of infrastructure projects. Your technical expertise will be vital in conducting analyses, preparing reports, and collaborating with other engineering professionals to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed structural analyses and design calculations.
• Develop and review engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ensure designs comply with national and international standards.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering teams.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for project submissions.
• Monitor construction processes to uphold quality and safety standards.
• Provide technical support and consultation during project implementation.
• Assist with developing project schedules and budgets.
• Identify potential risks in project designs and suggest mitigations.
• Mentor junior engineers on best practices and techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) registration preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in structural design and project management

• Reinforced Concrete and Steel Design
