Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medication, counseling patients on proper medication usage, and promoting health and wellness.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately dispense medications following prescriptions.
  • Advise patients on potential side effects and interactions of their medications.
  • Conduct health assessments and review patient histories.
  • Coordinate with medical staff on medication therapy management.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development.
  • Manage pharmacy stocks and order medications as required.
  • Engage in community outreach programs to promote health awareness.
  • Document patient interactions and medication outcomes.
  • Ensure pharmacy compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Assist in training pharmacy interns and staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm)
  • Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting
