Job Description

As a Tax Specialist, you will play a crucial role in helping clients minimize their tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with laws. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and offer tailored tax solutions. We expect you to keep abreast of changes in tax legislation and provide updates to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive tax compliance services to clients ensuring adherence to local regulations.
• Prepare and submit tax returns and documents to tax authorities.
• Review tax returns and financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Advise on tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
• Research and interpret tax laws and regulations.
• Assist clients in audits and disputes with tax authorities.
• Develop tailored tax strategies to improve client tax positions.
• Prepare periodic tax reports for management review.
• Educate clients on tax-saving strategies and compliance requirements.
• Maintain updated knowledge of changing tax laws and regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Professional tax qualification (e.g., CTA) preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in tax consulting or compliance

• SAICA membership (preferred)

Languages
