Responsibilities

• Lead tax compliance projects and manage client relationships.
• Advise clients on the tax implications of their business operations.
• Draft tax memos and other correspondence for clients.
• Identify and implement tax efficiencies for clients.
• Maintain accurate and organized records for all tax processes.
• Participate in tax audits and manage correspondence with authorities.
• Work with financial analysts to provide holistic financial advice.
• Create tax-related training materials and presentations.
• Evaluate tax strategies and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance departmental efficiencies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Familiarity with tax-related certifications like CTA or CA(SA)

Experience

• 3-5 years of tax-related experience, preferably in a professional services environment.
