Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Cybersecurity Specialist who will play a crucial role in safeguarding our clients’ systems and data. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and practical experience with various security technologies. You’ll work closely with our IT team to identify vulnerabilities and implement security measures.

Responsibilities

• Develop incident response strategies and act as an incident response lead.
• Engage in security audits and compliance checks.
• Assist in the development of disaster recovery plans.
• Evaluate and recommend security solutions based on client needs.
• Maintain documentation of security incidents and maintenance procedures.
• Stay current on regulatory requirements affecting the cybersecurity industry.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or Information Security
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is an advantage

Experience

• 5 years of experience in information security

Technical Skills

• Firewall Management
• Data Loss Prevention

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Problem-Solving

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools.: Hands-on experience with SIEM technologies for threat detection.
• Knowledge of penetration testing methodologies.: Familiarity with ethical hacking techniques and methodologies.
