DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. This role involves working closely with software development and IT teams to manage production systems and streamline development processes. You'll be responsible for implementing CI/CD pipelines and maintaining cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement infrastructure as code to manage cloud resources.
• Work with teams to improve development and deployment workflows.
• Conduct system audits and performance assessments.
• Evaluate new technologies and tools for potential adoption.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
• Create and maintain documentation related to cloud services and CI/CD processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Relevant certifications in DevOps or Cloud Computing are preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in DevOps or related field
