Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Wood Fuel Pelletizer to operate and maintain our wood pellet manufacturing machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production and high-quality wood fuel pellets for commercial use.

Responsibilities

• Control the operation of wood pelletizing machines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment malfunctioning.
• Conduct quality checks on raw materials and finished pellets.
• Follow health and safety protocols and maintain the workspace.
• Coordinate with team members to enhance production output.
• Keep accurate records of production data.
• Participate in continual training and upskilling opportunities.
• Implement maintenance best practices to reduce downtime.
• Ensure compliance with environmental standards.
• Assist with inventory management of raw materials.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Technical training or certification in wood processing preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating wood pellet manufacturing machinery
