Looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team in Durban. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of mechanical systems, ensuring they meet high standards for performance and safety. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams are essential for this position.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain project documentation, including plans and schedules.
• Lead project meetings and contribute to team discussions.
• Research emerging technologies relevant to mechanical engineering.
• Conduct training and mentoring for junior engineers and interns.
• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes.
• Assist with budgeting and resource allocation for projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design or a related field

Technical Skills

• CAD Software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
• Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics
• Project Management

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration preferred
