Job Description

As a General Practitioner in our healthcare facility, you'll provide holistic care to patients in Cape Town. Your responsibilities will include evaluating patient health, applying accurate diagnostics, and coordinating care plans to enhance wellbeing and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and document patient histories and physical examinations.
• Lead patient care initiatives within a multidisciplinary team.
• Conduct follow-ups for prognosis and treatment efficacy.
• Actively participate in healthcare awareness and community engagement programs.
• Support administrative and operational functions related to patient care.
• Contribute to training and mentoring of junior medical staff.
• Assist in managing clinical emergencies while delivering quality care.
• Demonstrate empathy and professionalism in patient interactions.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent degree
• Specialization in family medicine is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years experience in a clinical role

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
