Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Telecommunications Technician to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in installing and maintaining telecommunications equipment, along with a knack for troubleshooting and problem-solving in the field.

Responsibilities

• Manage the installation of telecommunication systems for residential and commercial clients.
• Respond to service calls and perform necessary repairs in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and telecommunication standards.
• Collect data to analyze service issues and recommend improvements.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or degree in Telecommunications or a related field

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in telecommunications or a related field
