Audit Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead our auditing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the auditing processes, ensuring compliance with financial standards and regulations while enhancing the effectiveness of our audit functions.

Responsibilities

• Design audit plans and ensure successful execution within deadlines.
• Review audit workpapers and ensure findings are properly documented.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure understanding of audit processes.
• Stay updated with the latest audit regulations and best practices.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for audit compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CA(SA) or equivalent certification required

Experience

• 5+ years in audit management or similar role

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of IFRS

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Interpersonal Skills

Certifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certifications in Cybersecurity: Additional certifications like CISA or CISSP are beneficial.
• Experience in Forensic Auditing: Knowledge in forensic auditing processes is a plus.
