Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various therapeutic modalities, with a commitment to improving patients' mental health. You will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and providing treatment to individuals facing psychological challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological assessments and provide diagnoses.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Conduct research on various psychological issues.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to enhance patient care.
  • Participate in community outreach initiatives and mental health awareness programs.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Psychology or related field
  • Professional registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in clinical practice
