Job Description

Join our compassionate team as a Mental Health Therapist and provide support to those in need. You will work closely with clients to assess their mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans that promote healing and resilience.

Responsibilities

  • Assess clients' mental health and develop effective treatment programs.
  • Utilize various therapeutic modalities to facilitate healing.
  • Engage in regular reviews and updates of treatment plans.
  • Participate in case conferences and collaborative treatment meetings.
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed and ensure referrals to appropriate services.
  • Educate clients and families about mental health issues and treatment options.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
  • Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in clinical practice or similar role
Technical Skills
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Certifications
  • Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC)
