Job Description

As a Bookkeeper in Cape Town, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate financial records. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting principles and excellent attention to detail. You will handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and prepare financial reports. Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist in preparing tax returns and financial reports.
  • Participate in financial strategy discussions and planning.
  • Manage and organize bookkeeping systems and procedures.
  • Assist in payroll processing and handle related inquiries.
  • Provide support to the Finance team in various capacities.
  • Develop and implement new financial processes for efficiency.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Additional accounting qualifications are beneficial
Experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in accounting or bookkeeping
