Job Description

The E-commerce Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing our online presence and sales in Durban. You will lead initiatives aimed at improving user experience and maximizing revenue through strategic marketing and merchandising. A strong background in e-commerce platforms, data analytics, and a passion for e-commerce trends is essential for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Direct all aspects of e-commerce business operations including strategy, technology, and marketing.
  • Foster partnerships with external vendors and agencies to enhance e-commerce capabilities.
  • Lead the auditing of e-commerce platforms to ensure best practices are maintained.
  • Champion the use of data analytics to guide decision-making and strategy formulation.
  • Manage training and development programs for the e-commerce team.
  • Assist in developing mobile e-commerce strategies to improve customer engagement.
  • Explore new sales channels and opportunities for growth.
  • Continuously evaluate and implement innovations to enhance the e-commerce experience.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
