Responsibilities

• Record daily transactions, including sales, expenses, and payments.
• Prepare and maintain accurate sales and receivables reports.
• Collaborate closely with other departments regarding financial matters.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitor budget adherence.
• Ensure accuracy of all accounting processes to minimize errors.
• Actively participate in the development of financial systems.
• Maintain document controls and filing systems for easy retrieval of records.
• Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices.
• Assist in developing and implementing internal financial controls.
• Manage financial queries from internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate in Bookkeeping
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of bookkeeping experience

Languages

• Afrikaans: Basic
