Job Description

As a Civil Engineer at our Bloemfontein office, you'll be responsible for designing and overseeing construction projects that meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Responsibilities

• Develop engineering solutions in line with project objectives.
• Review and approve engineering designs and calculations.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments.
• Assist in project budgeting and resource allocation.
• Mentor and train junior staff members.
• Perform quality control checks on materials and workmanship.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's degree would be advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering

Technical Skills

• Revit
• Hydraulic Engineering
• Geotechnical Engineering

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Time Management

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Traffic Engineering: Knowledge of traffic flow analysis and road safety standards.
• Familiarity with Project Management Software: Experience in using project management tools like Microsoft Project or Primavera.
