Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Patternmaker to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for creating, modifying, and digitizing patterns for various clothing items. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of garment construction and be proficient in relevant software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Adapt and create patterns for specific garments, ensuring optimal fit and style.
• Utilize advanced patternmaking tools and software for digitization and modification.
• Work with the design team to interpret design concepts and convert them into functional patterns.
• Ensure accuracy in pattern grading and maintain consistency across sizes.
• Assist in developing new patternmaking processes to improve efficiency.
• Train and mentor junior staff in patternmaking techniques and software use.
• Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve any pattern-related issues.
• Keep up to date with sustainability practices in patternmaking and material sourcing.
• Document all pattern adjustments and maintain records for reference.

Requirements

Education

• Advanced Diploma or Degree in Fashion Design or Patternmaking

Experience

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in creating patterns for various clothing.

Languages

• English: Fluent
